Explore how FOSS Science modules align with the Science of Reading! This session will demonstrate how to integrate science and literacy using the latest research, focusing on the Language Comprehension side of Scarborough’s Reading Rope. 

Participants engage in a modeled science lesson that demonstrates best practices from the Science of Reading.
Participants explore how to implement science-centered literacy practices, including discourse, science notebooks, sense-making, and nonfiction texts, to support student comprehension and engagement.
