An instructional approach that integrates physical movement and kinesthetic learning with phonics instruction. It connects letter sounds (phonemes) and spelling patterns to movements, gestures, or physical activities to enhance memory, engagement, and learning. Physical phonics helps reinforce sound-symbol relationships and phonemic awareness in a multisensory way. Morphology is a great way to help students deepen their understanding of language. When we work with morphemes, we work with the smallest unit of meaning that exists within our language. Morphemes can be single letters, or units of letters, that carry meaning and may or may not stand alone.

Integrate Physical Movement with Phonics Instruction: Participants will connect letter sounds (phonemes) and spelling patterns to movements, gestures, or physical activities to enhance memory and engagement.
Understand and Use Morphemes: Participants will deepen their understanding of language by working with morphemes, the smallest units of meaning in our language.
Apply Morphological Knowledge: Participants will apply their knowledge of morphemes to understand and construct words, enhancing their vocabulary and comprehension skills.
