GRADE 4 - Literacy Block Using Adopted Materials FILLING

DESERT SKIES MULTIPURPOSE ROOM
This session provides an overview of the key components of literacy instruction and the corresponding instructional blocks.  WCSD adopted instructional materials and high impact components will be highlighted and referenced. 

Learning Intentions
  1. Identify Instructional Blocks: Educators will learn about the different instructional blocks dedicated to each component of literacy instruction. 
  2. Explore WCSD Adopted Instructional Materials: Educators will engage with the instructional materials adopted by WCSD for teaching literacy. 
  3. Recognize High-Impact Components: Students will identify and understand the high-impact components that enhance literacy instruction.
