Curriculum Nuts and Bolts, Instructional Model and Digital Resources: The Initial Implementation training, offered prior to the commencement of the school year, ensures that teachers are fully prepared to effectively teach the Reveal Math curriculum from the first day of instruction. This three-hour session is structured around three key areas of focus. Program Overview: Comprehensive overview of the Reveal Math program. This includes an introduction to the program’s structure, an exploration of its key resources, and a detailed explanation of the assessment system. Lesson Dive: The subsequent 90 minutes are dedicated to an in-depth walkthrough of the steps in a typical lesson. Teachers will begin with the Launch (including Be Curious and Number Routines sections in K-8), followed by an exploration of Explore & Develop pathways (including the the Guided and Activity-Based Exploration Pathways in K-8, and the Explore/Learn/Example model of 6-12). The session then addresses practice options (Practice & Apply), leading to the Ticket Out the Door (Assessment) and subsequent strategies for differentiation. If time permits, the introduction of a module and the process for reviewing and assessing that module will also be covered. Introduction to Technology: The final 30-60 minutes will focus on familiarizing teachers with their digital accounts, providing an overview of how to navigate the platform, access instructional resources, and utilize presentations that support lesson delivery
