The session will also cover selecting accommodations that allow students to demonstrate proficiency without reducing rigor. Attendees will leave with practical tools to ensure all students can access and achieve academic success.
In this session, science teachers will collaborate to create a cohesive scope and sequence that aligns with district and state standards. Educators will analyze key standards and topics to determine the most effective sequencing of topics.
Building on the established scope and sequence from session 1, this session will focus on selecting and designing engaging instructional materials. Teachers will align content with performance expectations, explore project-based learning opportunities, and incorporate strategies to address diverse student needs.
